  • The way I see it is if I am so unhappy with how I look on the outside then I need to seriously buckle down and deal with it, only I am so addicted to the chips and the pop that I feel it is my crutch. The Snapping Turtle
Thursday, April 09, 2015 to Sunday, April 19, 2015

I thought I saw a large rock, but then it moved. Ha. A large snapping turtle more like it. So I pulled up next to it to get a better look. Then it crawled underneath the 4-wheeler. I didn't want to run over it, so thought I'd just wait until it crawled back out the other side. Well of course it can't be that simple. Turbo saw it and decided to bark at it. Monday, January 12, 2015 to Thursday, January 22, 2015
  • ~~A BOOKWORM AT GIRL SCOUT CAMP In the 1950’s my family moved from a little Missouri town to the small town in Indiana where my father grew up. We lived with our grandparents for a few months while my father started a new job and we found a house to rent. My little brother and sister, ages six and five respectively, roamed my grandparents’ big back yard and the neighborhood, but I asked if I might read the old books I saw in the parlor bookcases. My grandmother, usually so strict about us not touching her possessions, gave me permission. I read from books that far exceeded my s ...continued...

First 10 Years
Sunday, January 12, 1969 to Friday, January 12, 1979
  • I have six brothers and one sister, I'm the seventh child, the only house I've called home is where my parents still live today, 3743 Flora, Ave. Kansas City, Missouri. I attended the Old Faxon Elementary, 3710 Paseo, located on the next street over where we live, so I walked to school with my brothers, Mark and Jeffrey every day. My kindergarten teacher, Ms. Lucky was my first inspiratory of life, I met her after I grew-up and she had gotten married so her last name became Mrs. White, but she'll always be Ms. Lucky to m ...continued...
