As I go about my occupation as a corporate chaplain, I hear the heart of people. So many folks seem discouraged. When they have a need, Jesus seems the last place to turn. Others seem to have no concept of the Living God who intervenes in situations when invited in.
While I prayed about how to be an encouragement, I remembered how God had met me many times in the past. I made a list and came up with about twenty stories. Each week I'd write one and take it to my critique group to get their input and feedback. Before long, I had twenty-seven stories--enough for a small book.
Dan Case, editor of AWOCbooks.com had published my historical novel, The Late Sooner, so I approached him about doing a miracle book. He had just started a faith imprint, Buoy Up Press, so he said, "Let's run with it."
After a few months, more stories came across my path and within eight months I had another twenty-seven stories ready to roll.
Three days after God's Little Miracle Book II went to press, I heard of six more stories that fit. At this point, I believe there will be a third in this series. Who knows where all this will lead!
As an update, God's Little Miracle Book III came out the next year, followed by a devotional book I co-authored with my friend, Ardy Kolb. Daily Walk with Jesus was well received, so I started on another one which came out in July of 2014 entitled Looking Deeper: A 366 Day Devotional. All my books are available in paperback and e-reader at Amazon.com. Just type in Sally Jadlow at the Amazon searchbar and you can see them all.
