I think what I find quite amazing is that I can remember as far back as being no older than 2 to 3 years old. Some memories were good and some not so much. I was actually a pretty happy child, never really got into much trouble, unlike my older brother and my little sister. I can remember that the one word we did not say, was the word" shut up" to one another, if you did well you can pretty twell imagine what would happen. I had to find out the hard way one morning, let's just say yuck! I told my brother to shut up because he had said something to me that made me mad, unfortunately my dad was with us when I said it, I have to laugh about it now, but back then it was not so funny. Now back to living up in Gold Hill, Colorado.  I loved living up there. I can still remember the  school house my brother and I went to.It was 1 room school house actually, they used dividers to seperate the different classes.  I was in kindergarden and my brother was in first grade. Winter time up there was so beautiful, it never really got that cold either, snow was deep but not cold. Actually, it might have been, but as a kid, you never really pay much attention to the cold. My little sister, she was something else as a baby. Maybe I shouldn't tell about the time she went outside and sat in the snow without her diaper on, but I have to anyway, opps, cat's out of the bag now. As I'm writing this, I can't help but chuckle. You'd have to be there to see what I mean, just imagine it. Not even 2 years old yet and going outside and sitting in the cold snow without anything on her backside.    I would never say anything to embaress her, but i just thought that it was cute and share that story with you all.  Now living up in the mountains , I really loved living there. I can remember my first pet. One day I was outside playing and happen to see a cat and I walked towards her and she didn't even run away from me, unlike most stray cats would do.  I picked her up and went into the housed told my mom that she told me that her was " Blackie". I really loved her. Actually I loved all kinds of animals. One day while I was at school my mom was put my clothes in my dresser drawer and she said that she found a dead mouse that I thought I could make it better because it was hurt, or she would find a squirrel.  She never got mad at me for doing that, she new that I love animals and only wanted to help them when they were hurt. I guess you could call me " Dr. Doolittle".         I really loved that cat but one day I was not happy with her. I was just learning how to ride my bike without the training wheels and was going down the drive way and all of a sudden Blackie ran right in front of me. Needless tosay I fell of my bike andwas hurt pretty bad. I ran into the house crying and my mom picked me up and put me on the counter and cleaned up my wounds. The worst of it was my face. It was messed up. I couldn't really eat anything for about a week except for maybe soup and my all time favorite was mashed potatoes.       It happened on a Saturday, so I couldn't go to Sunday School the next morning. I had to stay home and let my face heal up, got to watch cartoons though.
